A newborn baby was found in a pit toilet

Recently, a newborn baby was found in a pit toilet, a tiny and fragile soul in need of love and care. The discovery sent shockwaves through the community, igniting a sense of urgency to rally together and provide support. Once the baby was retrieved, the ambulance was called and the baby was sent to the emergency ward.

The incident served as a stark reminder of the importance of looking out for the most vulnerable among us. It highlighted the need for stronger social safety nets and increased awareness around issues such as child abandonment and neglect. This is the reality for thousands of babies each year in the Eastern Cape, South Africa.

This is why we do what we do! We open our doors to abandoned babies and work hard to fight for their health, rights & futures. Join us as we make a tangible difference in the lives of these vulnerable children.
