Many children in South Africa are born with a death sentence.
3,500 children are abandoned every year in SA. Children are dumped in bins, wrapped in black bags, thrown in bushes or left at hospitals.
South Africa has the highest prevalence of fetal alcohol syndrome in the world; more than 14 times the global average.
Children make up 34% of SA’s population, yet there are nearly 4 million orphans. The Eastern Cape has the most orphans nationwide.
With your help, children
can have a second chance in life
Your support enables us to care for vulnerable children through:
A TEMPORARY HOME
We provide a place of safety for babies and young children who are victims of abandonment and abuse.
Our goal and passion is to network on behalf of these children to reunite them with a family unit.
